Album Notes & Community Reviews
Propelled by Bill Nelson's extraordinary, fluid guitar playing, this project represents the commercial and artistic zenith of the British art-rock outfit. It brilliantly balances the theatrical excesses of glam rock with the structural complexities of progressive rock. The inclusion of the hit single 'Ships in the Night' helped solidify its status as a cult classic of 1970s guitar-driven pop.
