The Geoff Barrow-led experimental trio delivers a remarkably warm, deeply motorik exploration of krautrock and vintage synthesizer textures. The heavily analog, incredibly tight rhythmic project captures the spontaneous energy of their live improvisations while maintaining a highly cinematic, melancholic undertone. It represents a beautifully hypnotic, masterfully restrained effort from the veteran musicians.
