Beak>

Biography

Beak> is an English experimental rock trio from Bristol, originally formed by *Geoff Barrow* of *Portishead*, bassist Billy Fuller, and keyboardist Matt Williams. Known for their Krautrock-inspired sound, the band's music is built on hypnotic grooves and atmospheric textures. Their self-titled debut album, 'Beak>', was famously recorded live in a single room with no overdubs, a creative limitation that defined their early work released on #Invada Records#. After Matt Williams' departure in 2016, Will Young of *Moon Gangs* joined the group. The band has released several acclaimed albums, including '>>', '>>>', and '>>>>', consistently exploring their distinctive, motorik-driven sound.
