Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final album to feature bassist/clean vocalist Lars Eikind, 'Deathstar Rising' represents the peak of the band's gothic-tinged melodic death metal. Tuomas Saukkonen's aggressive riffing is perfectly counterbalanced by massive, melancholic clean choruses, defining the modern Finnish sound.
