Album Notes & Community Reviews

Behemoth's tenth studio album, 'The Satanist', was released following frontman Nergal's recovery from leukemia. The album is noted for its complex and deliberate composition, incorporating orchestral fanfares, choirs, and acoustic interludes into their blackened death metal sound. Upon its release, it was met with critical acclaim and has been regarded by some publications as the best metal album of its decade, praised for its terrific coil of most everything the band has ever done well.
