Realistic IX

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning after more than a decade, the enigmatic duo reconstructs their signature lo-fi shoegaze through an incredibly dense, ambient noise wall filter. Submerging jagged post-punk rhythms beneath an ocean of ethereal, psychedelic feedback, the record is deliberately cryptic and aggressively repetitive. It is a wildly atmospheric, noisy masterclass in ambient decay and textural distortion.
