Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in southern France following a period of serious health scares, Ben Howard's fifth studio album features surprisingly warm and heavily textured electronic production. 'Is It?' distances itself entirely from his acoustic folk origins, utilizing glitching drum machines, pitch-shifted vocals, and dense ambient synthesizers. The result is a highly introspective, experimental pop record wrapped in a hazy, sun-drenched atmosphere.
