Album Notes & Community Reviews

Frog's sixth studio album, '1000 Variations on the Same Song', is a conceptual project built around the idea of iterating on a single musical theme. The record synthesizes the band's established lo-fi indie-rock with elements of alt-country, folk, and even a smoky lounge sound. Released in February 2025 following their return from hiatus, the album garnered significant critical praise, earning features as Stereogum's "Album of the Week" and charting as a top debut on the NACC 200.
