Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Pentangle bandmate Danny Thompson, the virtuosic guitarist's eighth solo record offers a more subdued, heavily traditional counterpoint to his group's electric experimentation. Featuring notable guest vocals from Mary Hopkin, the lush, baroque-leaning arrangements highlight his remarkably intricate fingerpicking technique and brooding traditional interpretations.
