Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing an incredibly daring, highly elastic approach to vocal improvisation, the singer deconstructs and reshapes familiar standards often beyond immediate recognition. Her unique, horn-like phrasing and fierce rhythmic independence established her as one of the most uncompromisingly avant-garde voices in acoustic jazz. The album demands intense listening, rewarding audiences with its startling structural reinventions.
