Album Notes & Community Reviews
Producing her sophomore album entirely on her own, Betty Davis delivered an impossibly filthy, aggressively uncompromising explosion of raw funk power. 'They Say I'm Different' is fiercely rhythmic and wonderfully punchy, matching remarkably heavy blues-rock swagger with her famously unhinged, intensely passionate vocals and delightfully rebellious, deeply sexual lyricism.
