Album Notes & Community Reviews

The German world-fusion ensemble Between delivered a deeply meditative and boundary-pushing effort with this release. Utilizing a vast array of global instrumentation, the album merges the improvisational spirit of Krautrock with the intricate melodic frameworks of South Asian classical music. It successfully anticipated the rise of world-ambient and new age genres later in the decade.
