Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded at the legendary Van Gelder Studio, 'Oh Baby!' features Hammond B-3 organist Big John Patton leading a blues-drenched soul jazz session. Joined by Blue Mitchell and Grant Green, Patton delivers thick, unpretentious grooves that perfectly encapsulate the commercial, rhythmically heavy side of mid-60s Blue Note.
