Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Black Country duo erupts with a fiercely conscious, fiercely punchy debut exploring the working-class decay of post-industrial Britain. Layering aggressive, spoken-word punk poetry over raw punk-blues riffs and muscular drum loops, the record effectively balances profound anger with sharp, distinctly British humor. It is a highly energetic, urgently modern addition to the current post-punk revival.
