Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived by drummer and producer James Krivchenia, 'Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You' is an ambitious 20-song double album recorded in four distinct sessions across the United States to capture a wide spectrum of sonic palettes. The result is a sprawling collection that veers from intimate folk and classic Americana to experimental textures and clattering indie-rock, unified by the band's symbiotic playing and Adrianne Lenker's absorbingly quirky lyrical narratives. This expansive approach, which also incorporates new instrumentation like fiddle and jaw harp, showcases the fullest potential of the group's collaborative and improvisational strengths.
