Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live to tape in a secluded studio, 'U.F.O.F.' captures Big Thief's folk-based sound in a lushly textured and atmospheric state. Adrianne Lenker's elliptical lyrics explore celestial and terrestrial mysteries, delivered with a haunting intimacy that balances the album's experimental and abstract production flourishes. The Grammy-nominated record is defined by its spacious, hypnotic quality, serving as an ethereal counterpart to the band's earthier follow-up, 'Two Hands'.
