Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New Orleans duo of Birdman and Mannie Fresh achieved explosive mainstream success with their third studio album, perfectly capturing the ostentatious era of the Cash Money label. 'I Got That Work' is driven entirely by Mannie Fresh's incredibly bouncy, synthesizer-heavy Southern production and the pair's aggressively boastful, hyper-capitalist lyricism. Driven by massive singles like 'Get Your Roll On', the platinum-selling record dominated early 2000s club culture.
