Album Notes & Community Reviews

This profoundly unexpected release serves as a complete dub remix of Callahan's critically acclaimed 2013 folk album 'Dream River'. 'Have Fun With God' entirely deconstructs his minimalist acoustic arrangements, submerging his iconic, deadpan baritone vocals and delicate guitar lines into incredibly deep, heavily reverberating analog tape delay. The resulting record is a beautifully psychedelic, wonderfully atmospheric, and surprisingly effective pastoral dub experiment.
