Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured live in Milan alongside an exceptional sextet, the iconoclastic trumpeter and composer presents a brooding, atmospheric exploration of avant-garde jazz textures. This second volume highlights Dixon's highly expressive, breathy tone and his disciplined approach to group improvisation, relying on spatial tension rather than sheer volume[cite: 1].
