Album Notes & Community Reviews
Teaming up with keyboardist and producer Paul Smith, ''Bout Love' finds Bill Withers navigating the slick, disco-infused R&B landscape of the late seventies. The album wraps his signature earthy, conversational vocal delivery in lush string arrangements and light, danceable grooves. It perfectly highlights his enduring ability to craft sophisticated, deeply romantic quiet storm soul.
