Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking his debut for Columbia Records after the collapse of Sussex, 'Making Music' captures Bill Withers adopting a slightly lusher, more polished production style. Despite the smoother instrumentation, the record retains his remarkably warm, melancholic songwriting and intimate vocal delivery.
