Album Notes & Community Reviews

Billy Joel's 'Glass Houses' was framed as a harder and more direct response to punk and new wave's challenge to older singer-songwriter rock. The album retains Joel's piano-centered writing while emphasizing punchier guitars, compact hooks, and a more confrontational public image.
