Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore effort by the German heavy rock outfit generated significant controversy upon release due to its cover art depicting a giant mechanical insect devouring babies while the Pope looks on. The music leans heavily into aggressive, Hammond organ-driven hard rock and extended psychedelic blues jams that echo the intensity of early Deep Purple. It solidified their reputation as a provocative, hard-touring staple of the Krautrock era.
