Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from Black Flag's original run is a deeply challenging, heavily atonal exploration of post-hardcore and noise rock. Greg Ginn's increasingly complex, dissonant guitar lines navigate jagged, uncommon time signatures while Henry Rollins delivers intensely introspective, manic poetry. 'In My Head' is a raw, fiercely aggressive, and highly experimental conclusion to the legendary punk band's career.
