Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pioneering the incredibly raw, deeply occult-obsessed USBM (United States Black Metal) scene, Black Funeral delivers a suffocatingly lo-fi debut with 'Vampyr - Throne of the Beast'. The project actively utilizes primitive drum machines, unintelligible screeches, and harsh, buzzing guitars to create an atmosphere of pure, unfiltered malevolence. It is heavily revered within the underground for its unyielding commitment to vampiric mythology and harsh sonic extremism.
