Tronic

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a departure from pure sample-based soul, the album integrates prominent synthesizer work and electronic textures into the artist's established boom-bap foundation. The production reflects the technological heritage of Detroit techno while maintaining the rhythmic urgency of midwest hip-hop. It represents a more experimental and forward-thinking studio approach, utilizing live instrumentation to expand the traditional sonic palette of the genre.
