Red Light

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second studio album from the incredibly prolific Swedish Drain Gang vocalist is a deeply influential, highly synthetic exploration of modern internet melancholy. Produced entirely by Whitearmor, the incredibly icy, ethereal synthesizer arrangements perfectly score his heavily auto-tuned, lethargic musings on heartbreak, substance abuse, and digital isolation. It became a massively pivotal text for the emerging post-SoundCloud, hyperpop-adjacent alternative rap scene.
