Album Notes & Community Reviews

The pioneering German power metal band shifts towards a heavily layered, modern production style, integrating more complex progressive structures and detuned guitars. The dense vocal harmonies and fantasy-oriented lyricism remain intact, but the overall sound is significantly darker and more rhythmically intricate than their 1990s output. It marks a deliberate modernization of their symphonic sound.
