Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Toronto-based quartet masterfully revitalizes the aesthetic of 1970s occult rock, heavily channeling the doom-laden riffs of early Black Sabbath and the progressive, flute-heavy wanderings of Jethro Tull. Frontwoman Alia O'Brien anchors the record with spellbinding vocal performances and virtuosic woodwind solos. It operates as a highly infectious, groovy, and unapologetically retro tribute to heavy psychedelia.
