Album Notes & Community Reviews

'New! Improved! Blue Cheer' documents the band during a personnel shift, with different lineups appearing across the two sides of the album. The record softens some of the extreme volume associated with their debut while retaining a heavy acid-rock core. It captures the group in transition between proto-metal intensity and a more melodic late-1960s rock vocabulary.
