Returning after eight years, Boards of Canada delivered their darkest and most cinematic work with 'Tomorrow's Harvest'. The album evokes a Cold War-era dystopian landscape, filled with decaying analog synths, subliminal messages, and a pervasive sense of dread. It moves away from the pastoral nostalgia of their earlier work toward a starker, sci-fi atmosphere reminiscent of 70s horror soundtracks.
