Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during the ramshackle, notoriously disorganized second leg of the Rolling Thunder Revue, this album features a distinctly ragged, world-weary atmosphere. Dylan's snarling vocal performances and the heavy, sludgy rock instrumentation brutally reflect the personal turmoil of his dissolving marriage during this period.
