Biography
Bob Dylan is one of the most influential songwriters in American history, whose career has spanned more than six decades. Born Robert Zimmerman, he emerged from the Greenwich Village folk scene in the early 1960s with protest anthems like "Blowin' in the Wind". He controversially embraced rock music with a trilogy of seminal mid-60s albums: 'Bringing It All Back Home', 'Highway 61 Revisited', and 'Blonde on Blonde'. His poetic, socially conscious, and often surreal lyrics redefined the possibilities of popular music, earning him a Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016. His work with #Columbia Records# and as part of the supergroup *The Traveling Wilburys* cemented his legendary status.
