Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Knocked Out Loaded' is a heavily disjointed, collaborative effort featuring a massive cast of backing musicians, multiple co-writers, and several cover songs. Marred by chaotic recording sessions and overproduced 80s studio gloss, the album struggles to find a cohesive sonic identity. However, it is anchored by the sprawling, deeply poetic eleven-minute epic 'Brownsville Girl'.
