Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary songwriter's 39th studio album was his first collection of original material in eight years and was met with universal critical acclaim. 'Rough and Rowdy Ways' is a dark, meditative, and sprawling work, finding Dylan in a reflective mood, contemplating history, mortality, and his own legacy over somber blues and Americana arrangements. The album is anchored by the epic, nearly 17-minute closing track, 'Murder Most Foul', a surreal journey through American history.
