Album Notes & Community Reviews
Sustaining the unstoppable momentum of the Parliament-Funkadelic collective, 'This Boot Is Made for Fonk-N' is an extravagant exercise in heavy-bottomed, psychedelic R&B. Propelled by Bootsy Collins' distinctive 'Space Bass' tone and kaleidoscopic vocal arrangements, the record merges comic-book theatricality with devastating dancefloor grooves. It serves as a quintessential artifact of the P-Funk empire's most creatively fertile era.
