Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking their first release to feature predominantly English lyrics, the Norwegian supergroup's sophomore album heavily accelerated their transition away from pure black metal. By integrating prominent clean vocal passages, acoustic guitars, and progressive arrangements, 'The Olden Domain' became a foundational text for the emerging avant-garde folk metal scene.
