Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a shift in Brian Auger's musical trajectory, 'A Better Land' dials back the intense jazz-fusion of his debut in favor of more structured, vocal-driven progressive rock and folk textures. Featuring significant songwriting contributions from guitarist Jim Mullen, the project displays a remarkably melodic sensibility. The warm, relaxed grooves highlight the ensemble's versatility beyond sheer instrumental virtuosity.
