Album Notes & Community Reviews

British organ virtuoso Brian Auger drives his Oblivion Express deep into the heart of polished American funk and fusion on 'Happiness Heartaches'. The recording is dominated by his signature, swirling Hammond B3 grooves and tight, syncopated rhythm sections. It expertly encapsulates the smooth, highly rhythmic intersection of soul-jazz and progressive rock that defined his mid-70s output.
