Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Shadows' drummer Brian Bennett built his first concept album, subtitled 'A Journey Into Discoid Funk', as a voyage around the Earth, playing all drums and synthesizers live with Francis Monkman programming synths and Alan Jones on bass across six tracks. 'Solstice' went on to be sampled countless times by hip-hop producers, and 'Pendulum Force' was paired with 'Ocean Glide' on a single.
