I Just Wasn't Made for These Times

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the official soundtrack to Don Was's highly acclaimed documentary of the same name, this collection finds Brian Wilson intimately revisiting his legendary Beach Boys catalog. The recording features stripped-down, beautifully realized new studio arrangements of classic tracks, highlighting the enduring emotional weight of his songwriting. It provided a remarkably warm, deeply sentimental reappraisal of his genius during a highly publicized period of personal recovery.
