Biography
American songwriter and producer from Inglewood, California, co-founder of *The Beach Boys* and architect of their harmonic sound. Wilson's 'Pet Sounds' (1966) and 'Good Vibrations' (1966), made for #Capitol Records#, redefined what a pop record could be; after decades lost to illness, his completion of 'Smile' in 2004 became one of music's great second acts. He died in Beverly Hills in 2025, revered as pop's supreme melodist and studio craftsman.
