Tender Buttons

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Tender Buttons' is the third and final studio album by the British electronic band Broadcast, released by Warp Records. Recorded as the core duo of Trish Keenan and James Cargill, the album features a rawer and more stripped-back sound, departing from the more layered psychedelia of their previous work. The sound is characterized by dissonant electronics, glitchy drum machines, and Keenan's distinctive, deadpan vocals, creating a work of minimalist and intimate electronic pop. The album received critical acclaim for its inventive and innovative approach, solidifying its status as a landmark release in the indietronica genre.
