Album Notes & Community Reviews

Brian Transeau essentially codified the lush, highly melodic template of progressive trance with his incredibly ambitious debut album. Featuring a sprawling, forty-minute closing suite heavily incorporating string sections and aquatic ambient textures, the record completely transcended traditional club-focused house music. Championed extensively by DJ Paul Oakenfold, the remarkably uplifting, flawlessly produced recording became a massive, foundational cornerstone of global trance music.
