Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing out distinctly from his vast, highly technical discography, 'Pike 13' is an incredibly somber and intimate instrumental release. The album consists of quiet, deeply melancholic acoustic guitar playing over sparse ambient backing, rumored to have been recorded as an homage during his father's final days (the cover features an unmasked Buckethead as a teenager with his father). It is widely regarded as one of his most emotionally vulnerable and beautiful works.
