Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by Jimi Hendrix, the debut from the powerhouse drummer's new ensemble fuses heavy horn sections with hard-driving rhythm and blues. 'Expressway to Your Skull' bridges the gap between psychedelic rock and deep funk, anchoring its expansive jams with muscular grooves. The project firmly established Buddy Miles as a formidable bandleader in the heavy rock and soul crossover movement.
