Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis, the Boston trio's sophomore album heavily reflects his influence through its dense, overdriven guitar textures. The record's emotionally fraught, melodic slacker-rock helped solidify the band's standing in the early 90s underground alternative scene.
