Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Hvis lyset tar oss' is a definitive cornerstone of atmospheric black metal, blending raw, lo-fi aggression with sweeping dungeon synth interludes. Varg Vikernes utilizes incredibly repetitive, hypnotic song structures to evoke a somber and cold nocturnal atmosphere that influenced the entire second wave of black metal.
