Album Notes & Community Reviews
Varg Vikernes's ninth album under the Burzum moniker serves as a concept album translating the Old Norse poem V枚lusp谩. It abandons much of his earlier black metal intensity for atmospheric, lethargic pacing, heavily utilizing spoken word and folk-metal influences.
