Album Notes & Community Reviews

Multi-instrumentalist and composer C.W. Vrtacek delivers a playful, highly eclectic solo album bridging avant-garde rock with jazz fusion. 'Monkey on a Hard Roll' features complex, jerky time signatures and unexpected stylistic detours, including brief nods to vintage surf rock. The entirely instrumental release highlights his eccentric genius and integral role in the American avant-prog network.
